Orlando, FL – Aragua FC is looking to sell their rights to Diego Guerrero to an MLS franchise. Guerrero who is one of Venezuela’s most accomplished players has expressed a desire to leave Venezuela First Division to duplicate his success in American territory, and MLS teams are paying attention.

According to Guerrero’s agent, the midfielder has submitted video tape to several teams including Olrando FC and Colorado Rapids who have shown a serious interest in the member of the vinotinto.

Guerrero offers experience, speed and skill coupled with a game changing ability to deliver decisive plays. In Venezuela weekly headlines usually read “Guerrero makes winning goal” focusing on the crucial role he plays not only for his team but also in bringing excitement to Venezuelan football.

Not only does his skill grab the attention of the franchise but also his ability to attract a loyal and numerous fan base. His shirt is the most sold in league history and there are chants titled “Guerrero” playing on the word meaning warrior.

His iconic status comes from his decades of success including winning historical championships with Tachira. He particularly likes to flex his muscle by signing with underperforming teams and taking them to the championship something he did with Zamora FC in 2021.

“Guerrero is an attractive bet for many MLS clubs because for the right price he will impact the teams performance. So a team that might be struggling this season like DC United, Chicago or even Columbus Crew could greatly benefit from a dose of “Guerrero”,” said Dameon Perez a player agent.

Guerrero has not ventured outside Venezuelan territory which will be placed on balance, but his reputation is global. Aragua FC to make decision by early November.
